Hey everyone. I am not an ADHD consultant, but mom to a 6 year old who is very likely ADHD (we will be starting the diagnosis process soon). I wanted to hear from anyone who was also diagnosed as a young kid on any advice you have for me? Knowing what you do now, would you recommend meds for a 6 year old (if it comes to that)? What other solutions/therapies can I use with my kid? Please, any advice is welcome!

Anyone get very depressed and anxious specifically around their birthday?? Comes around every year and it’s hard because people are asking me how I’m going to celebrate or what the plan is. It’s about a month from now and every year I feel more anxious and depressed around it, I’m only 23. Wish I could just time travel to later in the year or something.

I’ve been wondering this but has anyone had any long term health effects from consulting? I think with all the long hours, stress, and everything else that comes with it that it is likely to have physical and mental health effects.

Do you work the holidays into your lesson plans this time of year? Or is it too much of a distraction from your routine? China has implemented mandatory anal Covid tests for foreign visitors. This seems extremely woke, since anal tests are more accurate than nasal, and I think we should implement this back home in USA. Like for people who go to the store or gym, just a quick butt test to keep people safe. Thoughts?
