I’m pretty sure I’m about to get an offer from Accenture to be in their AI practice. If I take it, what will I miss about EY?

Nothing, it is like going from one sewer to another. EY may think their sewer is less stinky. But I’m not a sewer connoisseur, so I avoid all of them

Of all the companies right now to join, Accenture would probably be last. Stock is tanking. Business model is obsolete. No raises or bonuses. Awful CEO. Mediocre talent. List goes on. Probably less about what there is to miss and more about how little there is to gain.

How’s that any different from EY

Assuming same salary:
* EY fitness fund
* EY health insurance being a little better imo. I had the most expensive plan at EY and the most expensive at Accenture and have more out of pocket costs here, but they are otherwise comparable
* EY pension
* EY prestige/culture

I’m not bad with money but definitely lots of room to improve overall, due to several personal factors I don’t want to list in full here (numerous unanticipated medical bills, bad boyfriends, etc.) Hence why I only have $3k in savings right now. My first mini goal is to have $5k saved by the end of December. I need motivation and words of encouragement. If I pay off my medical bills, I won’t make my goal. I have to start putting saving money first. Getting depressed about my situation.

How does this Amazon offer look for an L5 non-tech PM role in Seattle? I’m coming in with 2 YOE as a startup PM. No MBA.

$130K base, 20 RSUs, $45K sign on over 2 years ($25/20). 1st year TC $160K.

It was extended before the recent announcement that TCs are going up but I don’t know if I’d be impacted regardless.

Hi Fishes,

Is there a minimum tenure that one has to serve in ZS to ask for office transfers? (within India)

And how often do they get accepted and the general sentiment by the management when one asks for it?

Assuming that my team works from Pune (and i like the job scope) but would like to relocate to Bangalore office (hometown) once the team stabilizes and processes are in place.

Would love to talk with you on DMs if you have any experience similar to this.

TIA!
