I’m starting at M in August as a first year BA and was recruited through campus recruiting (specialized masters). I have 1 YOE at EY-P but went back to school due to immigration issues. Should I have done lateral recruiting instead of campus recruiting? Are experienced hires getting paid higher? If so, is there a way that I can communicate this to HR so I could come in as experienced hire instead? Thank you in advance for the help.

If I have a Master’s, would it be worth it to go get an MBA once I’m eligible? Do you think not having one will hinder me as I progress/if I decide to exit to industry? What are the chances with McKinsey in a year if I got an initial recruiter call, but no interview. Experienced hire, post MBA Associate level.
