I'm struggling to find and land a new role...I very much need to get out of direct practice. I'm just not here for it anymore and it's not where I'm doing my best work, and I'm over my hour+ commute. I'd like to actually see my kid in the AM before she goes to kindergarten.

Been looking on & off, but now I'm at a point I can't hardly even think about what I "want" to do (not a believer in passion driven careers). Something more systems, ops, macro oriented, but that's too broad to search...

Curious if anyone else is or has been in the same boat. I started as an assistant at an entertainment law firm prior to passing the bar. Upon passing, the partner told me they would hire an assistant for me since I now became an associate. That was 1.5 years ago and I am still in the limbo of juggling my own workload + doing assistant roles for my supervisors. I have also had no increase in pay, which is a huge deal for me. Is this normal in the entertainment world? Any suggestions?

I’ve now been a B2B2C Key Account Manager at a Fitness Tech scale up for 6 mos and would like to be making more $ so am considering applying to other B2B SaaS companies. I currently own the entire (long) sales cycle from prospecting to account management. I’d like to stay in a similar role in another company. LCSW 50k loan repayment- Has anyone been granted a contract through the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program? I’m interested in applying for the 2 years of full time work as an LCSW but my loans are a bit under 50k so I’m wondering if they would only give me what I need to clear my loans or would I still get 50k as long as I complete my contract ?

I understand they might have real therapists working on their content, but a lot of the marketing I see is so vague and broad that it feels like a lie. Seems like "This app got rid of my anxiety with a 30-minute automated text questionnaire" is the new "This tea made me lose 20 pounds in two weeks!" Just seems a little fad-like and money grabby to me. Thoughts?

Have you ever dealt with a colleague that believes in extremely (in my opinion) outdated or even just false claims and treats them as scientific facts? I work with several older men but one of them practices "provocative therapy" as in you just play the devil's advocate with your patient and side with the negative half of their thinking. In theory I could see this working situationally, but as a whole philosophy regardless of the patient's issue I think it's ridiculous.
