Hi Fishes, I have received an offer from Barclays for AVP position. But the role discussed during interview was for Tech Delivery Manager whereas the offer letter mentions it as Tech Delivery Lead. Can you guys please suggest if it is the same role or should I request recruiter to get the role updated? Moreover it would be great if any of you can shed some light on the prospects/challenges of this role based on your experiences. Barclays Barclays global service center

I hope to be working in sustainability one day! You should feel so accomplished for getting these offers!
Kearny 100%
Deloitte 1 I just left GH NSS practice and I can swear that I experienced everything you outlined. Everything….
Pro
Kearney. No contest. You can always jump sectors and companies.
Kearney is T2.
Guidehouse is formerly PwC public sector and Navigant.
Sadly this is accurate.
Pick Kearney. Don’t even consider the other offer
Unpopular opinion, do whichever your gut is telling you. Kearney def has a better name but if you hate what you do and hate your boss, won’t matter where you work you’ll be looking for another job in 6months
Have you negotiated with Kearney to get them to match the GH base? Bonuses are nice, but in the long run, base pay has more compounding benefits.
Correct, Kearney has strict bands based on levels/titles, so there is little (though some) wiggle room.
How close are you to this comp at Accenture? Give us a chance to match.
I’m at $112.5K 0-5% bonus at the moment! I feel like I need to leave though for other reasons, mainly the regional model (I want to transfer to NYC or California eventually and am currently in the Midwest) and the implementation based projects. I’d love to come back as part of sustainability strategy someday but I feel like joining a smaller firm will help give me some good context and rapid learning.
Kearney will provide more growth, job opportunities and higher salary in the long run.
Sustainability is becoming part of a large portion of the projects - hence, good chance that you will work on it at Kearney
Agree with K1. ESG is increasingly becoming a focus of ours and it is going to keep growing more important.
the Kearney offer will end up being more money after bonus. GH bonus structure is sad.
Plus the Kearney bonus is pretty much guaranteed if you do your work w/o major issues — the range they give is accurate per level and consistently paid out YOY. Plus an additional 10% tax differed profit share (vests over time) which is great especially if you’ll put in your vest time.
What kind of project experience do you have? I am interested in sustainability and product management but not sure how to start as a fresh analyst.
I work at Accenture right now! I’m mostly focused on digital transformation but I’m part of the supply chain and ops practice and involved in several sustainability plus ones.
I’ve been at guidehouse a year came on as a project employee SC and just received
An offer to switch full time
To Managed services. I did not know you had to after 1 year with guidehouse you could not contract longer than that. Anyways my offer was laughable and basically $40k job cut to go full time and liek a demotion. Yet I stayed through lay offs and cut downs of our project to only best 20
Employees and this is how Im repaid. My only
Option is to go elsewhere bc I do not see them raising the offer significantly to match my value and experience.
If you're still deciding, consider another option and send me a DM.
