Been posting my more expensive watches here, but what do we think about this? Cannot afford the Double Red Sea Dweller lol, but this does a good job of giving me the feel of it. Robust and Good Movement though !! Thoughts?
Anyone at BCG in the San Francisco Bay Area willing to connect over a phone call and also potentially refer? TIA.

Anyone know average salaries for 3rd year associates at small firms in San Francisco that represent government agencies and non-profits? The firm has about 20-25 attorneys.
The volume of stock photography using people staring at their phone with a huge smile on their face is driving me nuts. Is that the best we can do? Ads, emails, banners, etc., sea of sameness.
Anyone know average salaries for 3rd year associates at small firms in San Francisco that represent government agencies and non-profit affordable housing developers? The firm has about 20-25 attorneys.
Been on FMLA / short term disability for 3 months and doctor recommended 1.5 months extension. My firm refused the extended leave but we’re unable to provide reasons what the under hardship for the firm is. They are pressing me hard for alternative ada accommodation (anything but continuous leave) so I can get back to work. If not they will terminate me next day. Is it legal?
Question. My younger brother is applying to a Top 5 business school. They contacted him a few days ago to provide his full work history (he had submitted a one pager with only his last two jobs) because they were evaluating his application. Since I am in consulting, he asked me if that was a good sign because he hasn’t received a rejection. I told him that not at all. That it was SOP and it’s been a few days. But I am older and disconnected from the college app world. I figured I’d ask here
Seeking gift guidance for my mom! Her birthday is coming up and I normally get her experiences as gifts so that we can do something together (a show, a game, etc). I live far away now and it won’t be feasible to come home; she’s being pretty covid cautious, so most experiences are off the table. Any suggestions? She is 68, loves taking walks and talking to friends, and never feels like she has enough time in the day (1-2yrs to retirement). All suggestions welcome, wide price range!
I want to go from Tech Consulting to Commercial Law (UK). I know that I need to apply for Vacation Schemes, or try my luck with a Training Contract. Any advice would be much appreciated!
Ladies, looking for advice on when to tell job that I’m expecting. I am due early November. I’m on the bench, so being considered for multiple rolls. I’d start and then have to go on leave 2-3 months later. Any advice? Are there any specific rules? I was thinking of telling HR 30days out to start leave conversation. TIA!
How often do companies drug test as part of background check? Thinking specifically about marijuana and live in MA where recreational is legal. Have to imagine companies would be more lax here, right?
I’m taking the SPHR in less than 2 months and haven’t started studying for it. How difficult is it? I’ve been in HR for 20 years and have experienced ALOT in that time, although there are always employee relations scenarios that surprise me! How much do I really need to study for this? I just can’t seem to motivate myself to do it, I’m so mentally burnt out at the end of the day from a high stress HR job, the last thing I feel like doing is studying HR!
Hi all, i am a tax staff in Boston for a national firm. I m looking for opportunities to relocate in SF area, San Jose. Please help. Thanks
For those back in office are y’all just wearing masks indoors and is it affecting the way you work? I’m pro-vaccine and masks indoors when crowded. But can’t help think it being uncomfortable having the mask on working 8+ hours and taking client calls when you could have it off working at home 🏠
Ex-Consulant here that now works for a big name Real Estate Investment Trust. Saw on LinkedIn that EY has an America’s REIT Leader. Didn’t know that much attention was paid to the REIT space. Are there really consulting teams dedicated to the REIT space in the Big 4? Love working for a REIT and would love to jump back to consulting if there were teams dedicated to the industry.
Best way to get to LES from JFK?
Just looking for a place I can maybe find someone in the same boat. I have PCOS. I weigh 336 lbs despite sticking to a strict diet and exercise regiment. I’m 25, single, and growing even more isolated than usual as I find myself using COVID as an excuse to further shelter myself. Any other ladies experience this struggle and have advice or inspiration I could draw on? TIA 😞
Hi there! I’m curious if anyone has tips for approaching a case interview or a framework to follow for a consulting internship?
When the worst intern is also an anti-masker
Any NYC FDD that can refer me? I'm looking for a senior position. Have prior experience at EY and am an active CPA. Like
Got a rating of 5 for the 3rd consecutive year - but overlooked for promotion. Should I move to another consulting firm or wait it out? Have a great support system and network in my current practice.
