Its cool. If you get it you’re unlikely to die.
I was supposed to travel to Northern Italy on Tuesday and I am rebooking. My firm instituted travel restrictions that include self quarantine on return for 14 days to not impact the immunocompromised on return or increase the spread. I was comfortable going and taking appropriate precautions but heeding advice from our global risk teams outweighs that for me.
If you go the most important things are keeping distance from others (6'), wash hands frequently, use alcohol based wipes with at least 60% alcohol, don't touch your face, eyes, mouth without washing first etc.

Be prepared for extra screening when you return to the US at the airport as well.
Maybe don’t trev to these regions for the time being and avoid bringing it back to our populations which include immunocompromised folks (like myself) :(

Just some information on keeping yourself safe on flights!
I am on my 3rd stop over through FCO in the last week. I'm not terribly worried but do take precautions of washing hands with soap and definitely before touching my face.
So yeah, my trip got canceled. I was looking fwd to seeing Krakow. Oh well.
Even if you had a N95 respirator, a properly fitted ones does not eliminate the risk of illness or death. The CDC doesn’t recommend the public wearing the device for this (and I’m sure additional) reasons. There’s heat build up which can make it difficult to breath for healthy individuals and more difficult for those with cardiac or respiratory problems. It’s not designed for kids or people with facial hair.
The best way to prevent the spread of respiratory diseases is to take preventative actions: hand washing, using hand sanitizer with 60%+ alcohol, avoid touching your eyes/nose/face, avoid close contact (6 feet) with sick people.
