How long after a phone interview to send a thank-you e-mail? I would assume within 24 hrs, but is it possible to send too early?

I had been interviewing with a product company. Cleared technical rounds and hr round as well. After that a manager discussion was held. After this hr stopped responding. After multiple calls, he responded saying we are also interview in other candidates . It was so frustrating . They should have completed all interviews before hr discussion and salary discussions. Really felt horrible today.

Got an application stage rejection yet again from Bain & Company for an AC role as an experienced hire (7months of work ex). I have interviewed for a sales representative position in a company that sales facility services. At my current job I’m only makes about $30k per year and that is hourly. No bonuses. This job makes $45k plus bonuses with a car and gas incentive. However, it’s a bit of a change in sale types. My current job, I have customers that come in to buy things where as the new position would be me going to them and cold calling. I have never done that before. Does anyone have any insights to the new job?

In one interview today with Kundyl. Their expectation is to be available oncall 24*7... With work from office. They literally got offended and stared at me for asking about WLB... Seems companies are not learning, even after the great resignations.. the big names... Like TCS, ibm.. are not doing any changes to their work culture and ethics to improve WLB.

My current experience is 7.10 years(only job, never switched before) current CTC 12.9LPA, Notice period 90 days. I have 2 questions 1) They have not replied since November 1st. For folks who are getting laid off, be open to 6 month to 1 year contractor jobs. Go for W2s if you can get it and assess 1099 taking your company’s Cobra. It is a good stop gap measure until things improve.

I am about to graduate with a bachelors degree and offered a contract to sign with the CPA firm that I have been working for about a year now. It is located in a midsize town in PA. I have generated over $100k in revenue in the past year and also heavily relied on. It is a smaller firm with around 1,600 clients. With one CPA, a senior accountant, and myself. When I am offered my salary package, what dollar figure should I be expecting. I am having a hard time getting a round about answer.

Me to associate : “You’ve been doing a great job, I just thought i would let you know” Associate : “ I know I am great at my job, you don’t need to tell me. I want you to make sure to tell manager [x] and. senior manager [x] that. Me to me : damn, when did these associates get so ballsy, also this kid will definitely be partner one day.
