Interviewing at a smaller agency. My title is strategist (been here 2 years, promoted once), but at small agency my experience puts me in the associate strategist level. Does this look bad on paper?

Tbh yeah. Two years in Ogilvy’s strategy department (which is better than most big shops) should not translate that way. Unless you’re going somewhere that’s more brand strategy or design thinking based.

Difficult day. Spent the last month pulling ridiculous hours to get a system out the door. Now home and it’s quiet and the anxiety, sadness and physical toll (booze, food, no sleep) all catching up.

A client I worked with is killing to have me come lead their Strategy team. I’m super-comfortable where I am and on a great trajectory. However, the guy has told me they are willing to “give me a sit at the table” if I’m interested in joining them. It’s a Public company, and I have been cracking my head trying to decipher what that statement could mean? Any ideas? Also, are there specific asks I can make to ensure the move is more attractive for me?
