USI Insurance brokerage and consulting - thoughts? A recruiter reached out to me via linked in and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this company. They seem to have decent reviews on Glassdoor but I was hoping to get more insight into workload and comp. Thanks in advance! USI

Here are some things to think about;
1. What is the bump as % of bump? If less than 20% it’s not a great move
2. When is your promotion with PwC? And when will you be promoted at EY? If timeline impact at EY is more than one year you may not want to move
3. How quickly can you rebuild your network? If less than a year, good move.
4. How strong is the practice you’re moving to at EY, relative to PwC? Should be comparable or better to move
5. Do you like the people and culture at EY based on what you know?
6. After evaluating the above, are you running to EY, or running away from PwC? If the latter, you want to be cautious. If the former, run for it 😂
Good luck
Typo above: bump as % of current
Senior Manager at PwC is NOT the same as Senior Manager at EY, it’s a new extra step before Director which is the SM equivalent at EY.
Wait for possible promo. Whats 20k at that level. If you do not get SM then you leave and get the money.
Its already Jan. 5 more months you can wait
5 more months and the role at -EY May be filled and you're starting over, too. Go for a change of scene, for culture, for a being able to use different skills. I'd never trust that a promo or raise is guaranteed until you see it in writing
