Anyone recently received a tax manager offer from EY ? I’m going through final interviews and want to see what your experience was like (negotiation process, initial offer higher/lower than expected?, did you give them a salary expectation range? How long did it take from final interview to offer etc) TIA!PwC EY KPMG Deloitte

Rising Star
just apply
Referrals are best but most have internal recruiters so if you submit an application you will get pushed to the internal recruitment team that will start the process.
I don't think you would disadvantage yourself by simply applying through their own portal. If your application catches their attention you'll be contacted by someone on their recruitment team.

Internal referrals are highest chance. External recruiters are good if you are an experienced hire. If you are straight out of college just apply through school or yourself.
Definitely try to get a referral if you can. Recruiters are hit or miss, but a referral from a current or recent employee is going to be much stronger chance.
I just applied when coming to RSM. Referrals help more than recruiters unless you find one that is really good.
Referrals are always better. What location are you? My firm always has openings. I’m a SM so it may mean a bit more coming from me lol.
I applied to EY over 10 times through the website and never got a call back. Then networked, got a referral, and landed the job. Been here 10+ years. So yeah, networking is best (but via actual employees, not 3rd party recruiters).
My first job at Big4 was through referral, now I’m at middle market top 10 public accounting and I just applied through their portal. You can also just look at who’s the recruiter on LinkedIn and reach directly, that has worked for me on getting interviews too.
I would try to get a referral if I were you. I have heard that referrals go further than working with a recruiter honestly.
