Hi, I recently came across Scaler's MS program, which offers masters degree in collaboration with Woolf University (European University). And, I am looking move to Canada in near future. Will the master degree offered through this course will be accepted by the education evaluation institute WES? If yes, is it considered as equivalent to Canadian Masters degree? Depending on the industry/agency? I’ve been fully remote my entire career and the last 4 years I’ve worked exclusively in the Midwest market— I live in Oregon. So I’d say most definitely it is remote friendly!
I'm an Account Manager and have been fully remote since Covid and know lots of others who are as well. So I would say yes.
It absolutely is. I will say though, that earlier in my career, being in office was very beneficial. I could pop over to creative and we could review client feedback together and they could make adjustments in real time. I could peek over dev's shoulder while they explained why certain things could or couldn't work. It was a better learning environment for me, personally. Now I think being in office is good for big things like annual planning or pitches, but other than that, I have no personal use for going in.
Definitely, I’m an Account Director and work completely remotely. I do the odd client visit but mostly I work from home.
of course lol it’s been done since late 2019… i will say it’s becoming less common now that companies are pushing for RTO. but there are opportunities, as far as i know IPG is still full remote
did they crack the whip at some agencies? when i left my IPG agency in mid june there was no official RTO and i have a friend who works at FCB health NY and they are still full remote
Yes it's possible! 75% of my team is remote and we've set up systems to make sure that we can still collaborate and check in regularly to adjust if anything isn't working as well as it could be. We also work in 3 different time zones. No issues from my clients either.
Everyone keeps to core business hours across time zones :)
That said, part of my job as an AD leading the team is to set expectations about when and how well the work needs to be completed, while creating a safe space for the team to speak up and let me know if they need more time or the ask isn't clear, etc. I remind everyone that what we do in advertising doesn't require late nights or weekends. On the rare occasion that we might need to work past our usual business hours, I have a discussion with the team so I'm not just throwing work on their plate without any guidance.
Our team is a bit of an anomaly at the agency. Our clients are not demanding and I make it a point to push back on any "rush" asks if they're unreasonable. I always try to find a balance for everyone's sanity - mine included.

I’m an Account Manager who is fully remote and my last position was also a fully remote Account Manager so I would say yes.
