My natural instinct is to assume rejection if I have conflict with a partner or don’t think my feelings are reciprocated. I’ll try to bring it up with them, but I’ll say “if you want to end this feel free” so it doesn’t hurt me (and they can say what they really mean instead of sugarcoating). Someone told me today that they just assume I’m not interested because I always seem to “run” but I’m not sure how to bring up problems/feelings otherwise. How do you approach these hard questions?

Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with discrimination as an Asian in the workplace? In my company it seems like it’s a white boys club where and they just promote white ppl because they’re white. And then they have a lower bar for promotions for minorities (traditional minorities likes Hispanics and African Americans). Meanwhile they make Asians do all the work. I am not generalizing that this is how it is everywhere but it definitely is that way in my workplace. Any advice?

First time home buyer here. Currently waiting to close and trying to make a list of everything I want/need when going from an apartment to a house. My 3-person team spends about 15+ hours a month each writing monthly reports for our clients (99 small retainer clients). We’ve received feedback that they’re too complicated and the clients just want to know - are we on the right track, what action items are there, and what any next steps are in their strategy.

I work for a small agency and manage our internal marketing acct. We had very few processes in place when I started. I’ve since created, implemented, and trained our dept. on project mgmt for clients and am trying to convince the owner to apply those principles to our internal jobs. They are resistant because they just want the work to be done and don’t “want to keep spending money on internal jobs”. I’m confused because we’re doing the work either way and “spending” in labor/resources.

Any Type B people in account? The teams I’ve worked with have primarily been Type A people. As a Type B person, it’s stressful for me and makes me feel bad for being Type B.
