Is asking for a raise at a part time job that you worked for close to 3 years fair if they never game you one?

Definitely.. Part time employees get raises all the time. And three years shows a lot of commitment. Just make a compelling case about why you deserve a raise based on your performance and contributions to the team/company

Thanks for the feedback!

Sure, three years is a long time, so you must be a loyal worker. Jot down some notes about things you've done that went well, and brainstorm things to talk about in a meeting. Emphasize your good work and your loyalty, and make a compelling case for yourself.

Sounds good! Thank you so much!

Way more than fair! Are you thinking of asking, or did you ask and it didn't go well? After 3 years, especially considering inflation, you are very overdue for a pay increase.

Well I had already asked them and I had to fight to give them a reason why. Made some good points but they said they are putting it through!

After a year and no raise is time to move on .

That is what I’m saying! Thanks for the feedback!

Why is education deemed more valuable on a pay scale than experience? Employers will pay someone with a degree and no experience a greater salary, than someone who has exhibited the experience.
