Is belly wrapping really that effective in helping with diastis recti, getting your belly back to its pre pregnancy stage. I am 12 months post partum and I still have diastis recti and I can't help but feel that if I had known to belly wrap after giving birth, my healing would have been faster. I have been seeing a pt...

Yes. It is part of standard postpartum care in many other countries. I belly-wrapped tightly for 4 months postpartum at the recommendation of my MIL (she lives and is from abroad) and am so grateful she passed this knowledge down to me. It's really unfortunate that it's not common practice/knowledge sharing (in the US at least).

I got this one. It still hiked up more than I liked (as another poster mentioned), but I dealt with it and was after the long-term benefits.

I would focus on specific core training to help with DR. You should be able to find YouTube videos. I got rid of mine fully by doing that.

I agree too. I saw a women’s health physio and she gave me great exercises (but you can find them online too)

I belly wrapped for about 6 weeks post c-section. It was annoying but did seem to help a lot. I stopped so I could start letting my body strengthen without the assistance

Pilates helped me! I tried to wear a belly band postpartum after a c section but it did not work with my very hourglass body type. I could only wear it when I was standing up and completely still because otherwise my wide hips and smaller waist made it ride up. Also, it seemed like it was just pushing my belly down and making my lower belly bigger and the top of my belly smaller, which was not at all what I wanted.

My understanding is that they are not a weight loss solution, but it can help with diastis recti. Personally, I found it most beneficial to help with my c-section recovery. Having pressure on the incision really helped me feel more comfortable.

Be careful with the free belly wrap from the hospital though! Mine gave me an itchy rash whenever it touched my skin.

I have been selected at citi but HR is unable to release offer letter. This is because I have worked for citi as contractor or consultant in past but I don't remember my SP ID or GP ID which Citi provides to its temporary employees. HR is checking my SP ID or GP ID which was allocated to me in the past but I don't recall it is. HR is checking this with US team and this process is taking time. If they cannot extract it due to some reason, will they release my offer letter? Please clarify this.

Getting worried about hours. Last year I was really low (first year associate), I’ve had really good reviews so far and no negative feedback. This month was slow too (about 95), and I really don’t understand why I can’t get work? I’ve asked different partners, including the heads of my groups, but it hasn’t really materialized anything. Should I consider lateraling?

Hi all! My past role was a pretty toxic environment - extremely unrealistic & ever-changing expectations & condescending behavior & an overall mean & anxiety riddled atmosphere. Any advice on what to ask future companies when interviewing to really dig & uncover any red flags? Getting real feedback & a true sense of things can be difficult bc typically you get back what they want you want to hear. Probing questions that might allow to read btwn the lines & uncover negative atmosphere? Thanks!
