How does one go from selling books online to Amazon, cloud, web services? Not everyone can do it.

I'd take grit and flexibility over raw intelligence any day, and the people with the former are usually more successful.

If you're born smart with the capability to work hard, you are lucky

It's better to be lucky than good, but it's best to be both.

I have non-US UG and grad degrees (but from global Top 20) and it bothers me. Feels like I don’t have ‘currency’ here without a US name on my resume. Don’t really need an (E)MBA nor want to pay for one. Is it worth doing some executive education-type certificate at Wharton/Stanford etc to at least get the name on my resume?
