Hi Fishes, I've accepted offer from Accenture from their portal.. But now got new offer from EY and wants to join at EY. So how can I tell Accenture Accenture India that I'm not going to join them. Rather than not showing up on the date of joining? Can you please guide me? How do I let them know? My talent coach is not reachable

Depends on what the request is. If it's critical to a client conversation on Monday, you may want to re-think. If it's just internal or could be done Monday, explain why you think it could be pushed back but do it will the idea you know exactly what's involved and when it will be done.
Nope. It's not right. Good on you for telling them to fuck off.
I only feel bad if it puts a teammate in a tough spot, and they have to do it for me
I'd have a talk a talk with them about the lead time that you need for things (if possible). In general, I usually work between 10-12 hour days to be able to do zero on Saturdays and maybe three hours of work on Sunday. Professionally, I don't know, but in life, you can never go wrong prioritizing your family. We need to invest in them the same way we invest in everything else. One idea is to set-up consistent offline times. Maybe for you, this means Sunday and then you can make up for the offline time during other parts of the week. Also, aren't we supposed to rate our manager in RPM about how comfortable we feel talking about work-life balance with them. I find it rare to be able to have his conversation with it having any actual meaning. Good luck and I pray that you will figure out what will work for you, your family, and your team!
Depends on your positions's power. Are you an accomplished professional in the firm, with long tenure and good brand? Then yes, go ahead. If you're new and trying to create a brand, and need to prove your worth in this rather ambiguous time at Deloitte, I unfortunately have to suggest to work on Sunday. I know it sucks, but think it'll pay off.
Appreciate everyone's thoughts! I think I made the right decision. All my weekdays have been 12+ hours - needed the personal time and I knew they had other support. All a balance - I agree with EY1 about being sensitive to putting colleagues in a tough spot. Thanks for the friendly prayer, D1 😊
