Additional Posts in Consulting
Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Do the latter. Sadly there is real classism at this job. You’ll create more of what you want by being what people expect / knocking their socks off and then talking about your background so they can learn to be less classist...
Agree with C1
Agree with C1. In our world, perception is reality, create your perception as a high performer who always has been that way. You want people to look at you and immediately think “partner some day”
Reason I ask is I can leave out community college from my profile/resume and I can inflate my staff aug experience and talk to it like it was consulting as well.
Similarly was in federal before performing well and managing switching to commercial side of this firm. Wondering if I should obfuscate my federal experience as well.
Thank you C1
That was my gut feeling too
OP - you have nothing to be ashamed of. You’re probably worth thousands of these elite grads.
