I’m currently working in PA full time while preparing to take the other 3 exams that I have left to be one.

3 weeks in as an experienced hire and still struggling in terms of understanding my role on projects, networking, organization structure, firm initiatives and career development process. How long did it take you to settle in? Any tips?

I started out as a graphic designer. Worked for about 4yrs in different roles. Then i started a digital design role for 2 yrs and then made my transition into ux. i have been in a ux role for 5 years. But i want to steer my career towards something more creative. Like in 5-10 years I wouldn’t want to be a specialist or a ux director. I d like to be an art director or creative director. I love branding & marketing but also product. 3rd year associate. Former fed law clerk. Working at ID firm. Doing slip and falls and wrecks. Recently received big law offer to do products. Really want to go. Gave notice to current firm. Current firm really wants me to stay, counters that it will try to get me salary as close to big law offer and give me complex work. Stay at ID firm or accept big law offer?

Unfortunately the US CPE course that i pursued was same as the course that i did last year and hence i didnot get credits and became NON-compliant as of june 2021. Can anyone please advise on what to do to become compliant?

I’m in big law and on the cusp of making the jump to in-house. It sounds like the company I just interviewed with is getting ready to make me an offer. It’s definitely going to be a pay cut coming from big law but I do get some nice equity in the company. Is the jump worth it? I’m so burnt out by big law and this seems like an awesome opportunity to help shape a newish company. Any tips on how to figure out if this is the right move for me?
