Cg has offered to match upto 23.5 lakhs.. Is it worth moving to TCS on this grade? My primary reason for moving out of Cg is i m bored of beauocracy and WLB at current project. Is it a good idea to still switch with the counter offer from Cg Capgemini Tata Consu

Strategy&a salaries and MBB salaries are 100% different than a big 4 salary. I was bitching about how "we do the same work" and I was told I don't have the pedigree that comes with those salaries. It was real talk and understandable. Between the Big 4 salaries are Deloitte, PwC and then EY and KPMG
Yeah but we don't get the bumps BCG does. Takes us 6-8 years to get 147k without MBA
Definitely higher from what I've seen posted here
We are significantly behind. 1st year senior associate in Houston started at $90 last year. 1st year S& senior associate was at ~$140

Didn't y'all Big4 keep saying how y'all do the same thing and are comparable in most aspects and it's just personality fit differences? Every time one of y'all try to gain a spotlight here then another one of y'all shoots him done saying y'all the same. So which is it?
Read a Strategy& on a another thread saying their salaries are in line with MBB, PwC can't be that far behind, then?
That 1st year SA @ 90 has to be no MBA. With MBA, different cohort. Right?
Actually S& is way behind. I'm an A3 in NY at 86 and my friend in S& NY has 90 as an A2
Yes, if MBA is from target school. University of Phoenix MBA won't get ya there.
Yes and to those delusional that penn state is a top public school and hence its MBA is great, that won't get you the bump either
You'd be surprised. Associates get paid 80k (soon 84k) for first and second year. That's not very good, honestly. Bump to 105k at 21 months, and 147k at promotion to C (window is 24-30 months)
^ that's pretty bad. I started at 83k out of school with Accenture in tech consulting (NYC)
BCG also has pretty stacked bonuses for top performers. My third complete (calendar year) out of undergrad, I made ~205K all in. The hours were often not fun, but comp and learning was very high for consulting.
Legacy PwC hired into a group under the assurance umbrella. Salary is better than core assurance/audit/accounting but more than a touch on the low side compered to S&. From my perspective.
to clarify not only referring to competitors within big 4. Interested in management consulting as whole primarily at the more junior levels
Woops way ahead*
ACN don't get no bumps either
