Probably cuz you work at Tesla
Then both of you go back to South Africa please.
Or you meet people that are trying to be someone, or something that they aren't. I was engaged to be married to a man that just out of the blue one day decided he didn't want to be with me. I'm very intuitive so I pick up on the slightest change in behavior with someone I know. I had no clue that there was even a problem in our relationship. He just kept on with me like normal. I found out how he really felt from my daughter's boyfriend. My fiance had been telling her boyfriend how he felt and the problems we were having, but didn't bother to EVER mention it to me until I confronted him with what they had told me. I trusted and believed him in the beginning when he told me he was great at communicating. Hahaha!
completely agree some people want the fun but not the commitment
At the risk of agreeing with the boomers on anything, a big part of it is the ubiquitous use of high-tech cell phones and the internet.
There was a time when people's options for attention and intimacy where restricted to basically the people in their little community. So people were a bit more reasonable in what they were looking for, because they only had so many options. Additionally, when folks found a relationship that basically worked, they put more effort into it because that was one of a finite number of options.
Whereas now everyone's competing with a world of romantic partners and gratification options that live in everyone's pocket.
Yup
