Is it possible to work a full-time job while pursuing your MBA? If you are doing this, please tell me your secret. I tried it but found it was too much for me, so I got out of the program to focus on work. Now, I no longer have the same job, so the time seemed right to go back to school. Still, having a full-time job would be great, as my income definitely helped our household.

I am graduate in Commerce and have completed 4 years in TCS BPS - BFSI domain.
I need to switch to another Company because my growth has stopped here.
I need to develop skills and I am ready to do certifications.

Is buyside transition still viable after 3.5 years to associate position? I have pretty significant valuation / CDD experience. Assuming most viable opps are in VC/growth equity, rather than PE; correct me if you’ve had a different experience.

Has anybody made the jump from agency to Microsoft? Job is in Digital Production working w/ the Cloud/AI team. $ is on par. Requires leaving a full time role (rather quickly) for a 18mo contract. 🤔

Currently an EM at McKinsey, joined as a lateral hire after 6yrs in consulting (strategy boutique) and a short stint at a lesser known PE firm. What prospects would I have pivoting back to PE?

Have full-time post-MBA offers from Bain big MCOL City and McKinsey small-ish M/HCOL city. McKinsey city is close to home and where I want to live long term, but I have really vibed with the Bain people.

How do I structure my decision making process?

So let’s say if someone’s father / very close relative was very high up in the government of India in Delhi. How does that person go about leveraging his / her relationships, legally, to do something in India? Would you rather do that or stay in the US in consulting?

I am in need of some advice I have a bachelors in healthcare administration. My long term goal would be a CEO of a hospital. I am looking at masters programs and need some advice as what to get my masters in. Last night I went over to my friends house (she has 2 kids, 2 and 4 yo). She and her husband were asking me about my pregnancy and planning. And were asking what I’ve prepped to date. I’m only 13w2 days so I think it’s way to early for buying stuff, but I did mention we hired a baby nurse for when the baby comes. My friend completely berated me, short of calling me a bad mom already, saying “what is she going to do all day? Don’t you want to bond with your child?”. I’m so upset by this.

My sister might divorce with her husband, they have a baby of 1.5 year. We came from a divorce family and honestly never thought it would happen again - I feel powerless and I don’t know what to do. I feel bad for my sister but I am also mad at her (the fault is always in the middle) because they are not trying to fix it. I am also scared for the baby, I perfectly know what it means to grow up in a divorce family and as much as parents are present is not the same.

I am currently working on my MBA in a professional evening and weekend program at a highly accredited university. I am thinking about transferring to a much smaller private online program, specifically because they offer a concentration in organizational health, which directly builds on my doctoral research. Does great depth and specialization outweigh the value of a highly respected generalist degree?

I am a recent grad(Finance), and my MBA school is not a named institute like Stanford. I would want to work for a consulting co. who is heavily involved in Finance. Can you help me create a roadmap from where should I start? What are top finance business consulting companies and how to get there? My undergrad was in science.

Incoming MBA, I have my tuition paid for and rent covered (I will be an RA). So the only thing I need to pay for is food and entertainment. Do you think 20k is enough to last me through the 2 years? I will make a little money interning in the summer, so that would be a safety valve if I blow through the 20k.
