I’m an L6 SDM at Amazon but a Meta recruiter sent me an M2 sdm job description. I have all the XP I need from previous job experience but does Meta keep your same level as Amazon? Meaning if I am an L6 at Amazon am I automatically interviewing at M1 or can I jump to an M2?Amazon Facebook (Meta)
Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?
PS: I have gotten calls from every other company for the same profile but not amex. Can't be a problem with the profile. Seems something dicey which I'm not aware of.American Express

I just got an offer from Accenture Switzerland, Total Comp 170K with 140K base. I have 6YOE as IT consultant and 9YOE in total. I am just upset that they did not offer me a relocation package of 20k because the cost of living in Zurich for a family with 1 child is crazy! Should I insist for a sign on bonus before accepting the offer?

No life happens, happened to me not too long ago I had already done like 3-4 interviews and right before the last round where I had to put together a huge presentation I said "sorry, as you know I have been interviewing with multiple companies at this time and recently was offered one of the positions that I am accepting, I want to thank you for your time, its been a pleasure getting to know more about your team and company, I hope you find the best candidate for the role! "
This is a very classy response if you’re sure that you would not entertain an offer from this company. Just know that having an offer on the table will trigger many companies to fast track the hiring process, so if there’s any chance you could be interested in seeing their offer you should take the interview.
Had that situation and said that I recently got an offer and don’t want to waste your time knowing I already have an offer
If you're not interested in. the job, it's better to respect the time of another person and not waste it, imho.
Coming form a hiring manager please cancel! It is a lot of time and work to hold an interview and to hold one without intent to accept? That’s just rude.
Nah, it'll save them time.
But the question is, are you absolutely sure you wouldn't work for the company? What if it turned out the comp is better than you expected, the team is very chill and you vibe with them, or the role itself is actually interesting to you? If you are 100% certain you don't want the role then go ahead and cancel but I would personally want to hear a little more.
Had the same experience recently and didn't want to waste the recruiters time or my own
Definitely cancel, unless you need negotiating leverage. The fact that you don't care will probably mean you can kill the interview.
You can cancel it if you're not interested. Happened to me twice. It would be a waste of time.
Don’t cancel. I use it as a practice interview to get my spiel straight! Helps get out the jitters.
Totally fine. Just let them know that you'll be cancelling and thank them for their time. I'm sure the interviewers will be happy to get an hour of work back too
I cancelled all my upcoming interviews at two other companies after accepting an offer.
