So I’m in industry from big 4, and a colleague with same yoe comes from MBB. High paying tech firm. I think I work harder and produce quality content at speed, but they can hold executive conversations that tend to impress senior stakeholders.

Big 4 produces work horses and MBB produces leaders. Also they could be a work horse too since I don’t have full visibility.

Anyone have similar experiences or do I just suck at executive stakeholder management?

I had a few interviews with a firm, but I mentioned that I provided some efficiency solutions in my career, got a six sigma black belt, and analyze data to provide solutions on a daily basis in my current role.
After my 3rd chat with the firm, I have not heard back.
Any tips on what I can do to be considered in consulting? I've been in 3 different industries over the past 9 years.
