I have an interview for a LTC/Rehab Nurse Manager, Infection Preventionist position next week. My base salary is $40/hour as a charge nurse. With overtime I’ll be finishing the year about $15000 above my base pay. I have questions: first, I know I’ll be putting in at least the same number of hours I’m current working (50+/wk). How do I leverage that to avoid a pay cut. Also, any tips from people in this position?

I’ve worked in retail buying since graduating from college, but I am looking to pivot into interior design.
