Is this true? Any chance other firms will follow?

Hi All,
I just got a call from KLA Company's HR that I have cleared final round and there is a HR round today evening for salary discussions.
The role is for Frontend Developer(Angular).
I have 3.1 years of experience.
CCTC - 13.2 LPA (all fixed)
Holding offer of 17.5 from service company in Pune.
Does anybody have any reviews for this company for the s/w department?
How much should I ask?
What are the other ways I can negotiate? Like do they provide RSUs?
KLA Corporation
Thank you

Deloitte gave like symbolic bonus and raise last time though so it’s just making up for that
Hopefully this spreads, this is the kind of news we all need.
Gotta imagine this is them realizing they are under market after the other firms comp adjustments. Particularly EY
Yeah that makes sense. I’m an A3 and I don’t think I have any intention of staying until partner but also am not sure just yet what path I want to go down. To be determined…
Don’t think pwc will follow. The annual raises this year we’re pretty good. For example, I was a senior 2 and got an 18% raise with a tier 3 rating (average)
P3 talk to your managers, senior managers and directors and ask them how “great” the raises were. As the OP pointed out some senior raises sucked be ie they had been highly rated in prior years and were ahead of their peers.
Did Deloitte have crappy raises this year? They were always cheap. That’s why I left them. The year I left, we had droves of people leaving. My engagement alone, which was a huge job, lost 4 seniors within 3 months. They never learned their lesson apparently
Hope EY will follow. FAAS raise is pretty bad this year. Heard audit is much better
How is the pay for senior 1 in FAAS?
Yes it’s true. Cannot comment on other firms, but maybe. Some other firms are already higher than Deloitte since they did their raises later
Do you know when this is happening and who it applies to? I accepted an offer recently so just curious!
Crowe said it was a possibility!
Yup and not just that, but they are getting more work from.home subsidies and they are also getting to expense their trips to the office via public transport or uber with a set cap per month
Wow expensing public transportation
I wonder if Deloitte Advisory will follow.
Hope Deloitte Tax follows it..
The real question is, "How do I get a job there?"
We got 8% to "bring us to market value" in June but now everyone else that we market ourselves as an alternative to had done something bigger and better.
Not to be ungrateful or greedy, but I'm trying to get paid too! 🤣
