It always irritates me when a company pitches itself as being like a family, especially when their benefits or hours don't really allow for you to be with your...actual family.

I think I want to be in relationship, but I fear that I actually am just lonely and not actually ready for relationship.
I desperatly want someone that I can spend time with, laugh with, and tell good news to amongst so much else.
I don't know what to do or if anything can be done...

I max out my 401k and I have a decent emergency fund. I want to keep saving. From what I’ve been reading my next steps are an IRA and then a brokerage account. Questions:
1. How do I pick between a Roth vs a traditional IRA?
2. Once I hit the max of $6k - only then do I focus on brokerage account?

What do you do when you feel the goalpost has been/is being moved re: billable requirements? Like there's a spoken vs unspoken? I chose this job based on billables vs salary and what I'm being told I'm expected to do now is 20-30% (at least) > than what was initially agreed upon. Given my other life responsibilities, this is creating a huge strain & I feel like this is slowly getting harder & harder on my spouse & kids. So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I do sales for a major engineering firm. Focused on new business and exploring new markets. Last year I was in the top 50% for order intake, and first in number of projects won along with number of new customers. I think this is extraordinary given the effort it takes to win new business.

For next year my goal increased by 2.5X, and less of what I bring in counts towards that target. I really enjoy my job but I will essentially be getting a large pay cut. Lost in what to do besides quit??
