It is true that as servants of the country in the military we have many benefits, but I have always felt that we need more benefits when we are retired. Any opinions?

Fathers - how long was your paternity leave when you had your first kid? How did you figure out the "right" amount of time to take off?

Travel and TTC combo haven’t worked. After 6 months, the only offer I got included 4 weeks paid and FLMA only after 1 year. So 1) go and risk laughable benefits or 2) stay but risk TTC. So shitty 😭

2 weeks unassigned in may. Can I use PTO for those 2 weeks even if I haven’t accrued it yet? 1st year, and what are the cons of two weeks off? Like utilization. Etc
