Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

That’s what I’m trying to determine. Ultimately, he was unprepared. He started off really strong & it just went downhill precipitously.
He was thinking of examples off the top of his head, so stories weren’t succinct and just dragged on forever. I got some low EQ vibes. Not only can he not discern when he’s losing his audience and pivot accordingly, but he also legitimately said he doesn’t fail & couldn’t find up with an example.
It was the longest 30 second silence of him: 🤔
