I’ve accepted a new role at a tech company and it’s an L7. I should be happy to have this, but I not excited about the role and have this sense of dread about it. That I’m (1) going to f*** it up (2) end up working 80-90+ hrs per week like at BCG, and (3) that my career is over. I’m 40 and was told I would not make MDP (equity partner) last year and was exited. I’ve been realizing my mistakes and how stupid I’ve been about things over the past few years and can’t seem to stop beating myself up.

Haven’t worked out since September and really scared of going back to the gym because I gained some weight and I become very panicky when my heart rate goes high. 5 years post-MBA and all my classmates are VPs in industry or Principals in consulting/IB (some are even Partners/MDs already).
