I've been in a grad role for a year now, and my manager keeps telling me that I'm not going to progress. She said I don't really understand the work as well as I should by now...which is tough when everyone ignores me when I ask for support or training. Yesterday though, she told me that I 'don't add value to the team' and it pretty much just broke me. Feeling really low, maybe I'm not cut out for a career in this industry?

Which engineering is the best and why? I am an electrical engineer and I am sure that my engineering is the best career because it is the most difficult to study and at the same time we are the ones in charge of moving the world.

Currently an associate at a mid-sized firm with “strong potential” to make partner at the end of this year. Things have been toxic for a while, but have cratered in 2021, with few signs there will be any positive changes on the horizon. What are the pros and cons of staying to make partner before trying to go in-house? I’d assumed it would be better to job search with that title on the resume, but am rethinking my assumptions the worse things get.
