I’ve had some early success in consulting, but I’m hitting a plateau, getting too old to continue. What advice do you have on whether I should persevere or quit?

I have a coworker who keeps spouting comparative odds and situations in regards to the safety of the vaccine. Such as: you're twice as likely to get hit by lightening than have blod clots from JJ. It's very annoying and I find it to be really inapprorpriate, maybe because it's pushy or just I find these comparative things to be a bit irrelevant. How does one handle something like that? I cleared LTI all rounds and in HR discussion we came on mutual agreement for 16lpa .I have 7 years of experience and they gave me Specialist - Data Engineering(P3) role. And we agreed I will join with after 60 as I had to serve 60 days notice period. I was waiting for offer letter and when I received the offer letter I was shocked to see that CTC mentioned was 14LPA and joining date was only 15days from now ,which is way early.
