Do you always need an MBA to get into MBB?
I'll be joining tw as UI Lead, soon.
I'm a javascript/react developer since inception of my career & haven't worked much on CICD/JENKINS and similar technology.
Should I be worried that as a lead I don't know these and will it affect by job security?
Ps- I'm good at UI,js, react etc.

I don’t know if this is what you meant, but I interpret this one of two ways, which are somewhat related. The first being: technical = subject matter expert and generalist = jack of all trades. The second being: technical = in the weeds engineer and generalist = engineer who coordinates, leads, or manages.
In any case, I would say that I am on a more technical career path. I have very deep knowledge in a specific kind of technology and am an “in the weeds” engineer who loves doing nitty-gritty engineering work.
I love the technical path but also enjoy the flexibility and leverage that knowing how many things are done (probably not in depth but dangerously enough). that way when I need something done I can tell if they are right or sand bagging.
