The first thing that jumped to me was your first position. Do you know how rare it is to be a creative director? For that to be first role ever and then corporate climb the chain. It's kind of off. If you were so great and was a creative director how did you fall so far?
Thats what was running through my mind. I see it all the time in software engineering, some resumes will state that they are a founder, directors, president, etc
, but why are you applying for a QA role. There's a mismatch here. Thats all I am saying.
I spent 14 years at that agency (not reflected on my resume but on my LinkedIn) starting out part time in my first two years as a graphic designer who went full time as an ACD and then CD. When a national company like US Bank gives you a call and says work for us as a Creative Art Director (turned out to be the equivalent of a senior product designer) and make more than what you’re making now in the Bay Area, sometimes you make shifts.
Also I’m not apply for a QA role, I’m apply for a Sr. Product Designer / Lead Product Designer role. The mention of final QA is a requirement in a lot of these positions which is why it was included in the resume.
