Has anyone left PwC while they still had an outstanding Educational Support Program repayment agreement? What is the repayment process like? Am I required to pay back the amount in full the day I leave the firm or is there the ability to do a repayment agreement? I’m looking at new opportunities and would like to have my new firm take on the amount of the tuition agreement ($14,000) but don’t know how much that might limit my options.

Whenever they call about their WLB, I always think it's such BS. Being asked to take the LIRR or Metro North or PATH to get to an office outside the Manhattan area really doesn't count as better hours. All this means is I'll be splitting my 7 hours of sleep between my bed and the train. I get I'd rather fly off, be 15 mins from the client office, and get to expense whatever I need to make life convenient so I can work. I wish they were more transparent.
D1 on point. Tues-thurs travel means a Monday and Friday at home winding up and down, never commute with the rat race and often do a long weekend and fly from there.
area that would keep my skills relevant. It would be another lateral but have a former colleague on the team and trust that this would offer the balance I need right now (looking to spend time with elderly parents and have a young child)... ultimately may want to boomerang back to consulting in a few years. If I keep skills sharp does that seem reasonable? Or am I potentially going to be stuck?
At this point, if you're not making a jump with higher pay and a title that satisfies you...I don't know if it's worth it. Unless of course, Slalom isn't giving you the WLB to properly care for your family. Just don't know how you'd be able to guarantee that won't also be the case at the other company. And if that's the case and you do take the same amount of money, you're probably going to be pissed. Keep your skills relevant on your own, if you're not on projects that fully tap into them. And just be patient for a progression, unless you're really really sure the other place has a great promotion path.
What was oversold? WLB? Interested in your experience as I’m debating an offer right now.
I guess it would depend what you came from, because if it was anything big4, culture and balance should be significantly better. What office did you join? As long s you leave on good terms, boomerangs are always welcomed back. How long have you been at slalom
