Has any one else find it really hard to start a job remotely and feel like you’re not doing enough or producing the results you anticipated? In my last role I was praised for all my hard work and now in my new role it seems like I can’t do anything right. Any tips???

Need a little guidance here. I have a total of around 6 years of experience in software development. Did a certification in Pega System Architect back in 2016. Was working on a bpm tool in my last company which was eventually acquired by Genpact.
Then had to go on maternity leave from Nov 2018 and finally left working in June 2019.
I want to start working again. But confused about the role I will get now. Should I do some more certifications? If yes then please suggest a better path.

In tech trans at a big firm, but my work is almost all M&A deal support. I read, review, and mark up countless agreements, but don’t get to draft any. Am I still in a relatively good position for going in-house at a tech company, or are in-house tech jobs reserved for people doing tech trans at the Cali firms (Fenwick, Cooley, etc.)?
