Hi Op - can we connect? I wanted to ask you about your pathway to this role because my end goal is to leave human capital and go to industry in one of the big tech companies.
Yes message me!
Congrats Op on the accomplishment!!
May I ask how many years of work experience you have? I’m also interested in exiting one day out of consulting and into something like this~
I would say 7 in the field though
One more thought. If this is not the role, tell them. Explain you love A and B about the role. Let them know why you are saying no. let them come back to you with something you can say yes to. I have interviewed for 4 roles where I eventually landed a slightly different role at the same company.
What kind of role?
Learning and development
Location? Position?
Thank you!!
Hey OP, mind explaining the interview process for this role?
Thanks, OP! Congrats on the new role
Hey OP (or someone else), would you mind explaining what the RSUs equate to? And PS congrats on the new role!
Thanks OP! Very very helpful, so sort of equivalent to $160k / yr with your base, and to your point you have faster access. Appreciate the explanation, I didn’t understand how these “add up” so to speak!
How did you get the interview? Did you apply or did they reach out to you first?
I actually applied and then reached out to previously colleague from another company that worked at FB now to get more insight to life at FB and ironically the role was reporting into her group. Believe though considering the rigor or the process I don’t think knowing someone was the drop in the bucket they definitely did their due diligence.
If you like the leader you will be working for; and the company then you have something to consider. If the role is meaningful and works to help you take a step towards your long term goals, then take it.
