Just made it to the next round interview for Protiviti.. Any advice on the Case Study and Behavioral Interview? I’ve never done a case study before and would like some tips and recommendations :)

Protiviti is all control testing. Don't fall for their "consultant" titles. Hopefully you like taking screeenshots!

likefunny

Other things would be pen testing, system implementations, and we have some emerging stuff with digital and quantum

Campus hire? You’ll get a chance to read some materials prior, so prep and do some research.

Oh okay, but consultant level? If so, then what I said. If you’re an experienced hire, I really wouldn’t expect a formal case. More of a behavioral interview and “technical” interview to assess your skillset.

What solution?

From what I have heard, IAFA does typically get paid lower than other solutions but AD is right. And I’ve seen experienced hires start out in IAFA Tech and move into a different solution, especially if they obtain certifications. I’ve changed solutions quite easily at Protiviti.

Tough time getting past final step: I’ve been trying to make a career shift for 10 months now and continue to get rejected at the last step. Im confident in the value I can provide and do well at presenting it. However, once it’s comes down to me and 1-2 other candidates, I repeatedly have been turned down for the person who has more relevant experience as they’re a safer bet for the employer. Would love advice from anyone who’s dealt with this before. It’s tough to get them to take a risk on me

I ask because I’ve let my credit spending get a bit lax since moving and adopting a puppy recently, so I haven’t been paying them off in full every month like I used to (though still well above the minimum payment, and keeping utilization at 30% or under). It got me thinking about how many people adhere to this advice.
