9 out of 10 you will be wrong - leave things the way they are and things will correct .

The problem with OPs thinking is that you need to get two timing items right with significant accuracy - the first move and the move back. Messing up either one ends up much worse.
EY1 is right, I sat in cash for half of the last bull market. Don't sit on the sidelines
Market’s on sale. It’s time to buy more. The hindsight thing only seems obvious but it’s not, the only real prediction we can make is that in the long run (like in 30 years) the market goes up. Keep investing and try not to eye the short term swings so much.
Looking back on my portfolio my wishes are (1) that I had invested way more when we were coming out of the recession but I was scared to invest back then because the market was down a lot and (2) that I had not got scared and made withdrawals during 2020 to “cut losses”. All I did was lose out on gains I’d have had if I’d started DCA early and stuck it out without minding market swings.
How many similar sentiments do you think there were after 2008 and 2001? Hindsight is always 20/20.

Shoulda coulda woulda….
Wish I would have bought Bitcoin or Tesla under $100. Hindsight is 20/20.
What are you doing about it now? Are you actively buying as the market continues to stay on sale?
May be in about 12 months you will be kicking yourself about moving your investments out of growth stocks
Tech companies are the future of the economy so I'd just try to buy more
One thing I haven't seen asked - what's your time horizon for retirement? That'll make a big difference in how much you should be doing (or not doing).
Assuming you are 5+ years away, then don't stress, it'll rebound and you'll be fine. (Don't panic sell).
If you are under 5 years, you probably need(ed) to change strategy to more risk averse. You might have missed the boat on that for this dip, so ride the ride without taking action.
Short version: don't panic sell.
Unless you need it in the next 2 years, you are fine leaving it where it is. It always recovers.
