Hi fishies, I am currently working as a Manager at Accenture for one of their MDM project. I have received an offer from Axtria. I have asked for 40% hike on my current CTC. There is no WLB in my current project, hence considering Axtria. If someone can help me understand the work culture in Axtria especially in BI segment.

I’m moving from Houston to New York City in Jan 2022, any recommendation on specific apartment? I’m thinking about Elmhurst, Astoria, Long Island City. I do see apartment listings on apartment.com from 1,700-2,200 in those areas. But it’s hard to tell by pictures. I will be working near Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan. To me, safety and commute comes first. And then it’s the cost and Laundry facilities. Or should I live in NJ? Thanks!!!

1) Deloitte doesn’t have enough cachet to benefit from “former Deloitte” like “Ex MBB” or “Ex Goldman”
2) because it’s a small growing business, probably lower around 200 but should have high bonus incentives. All depends on what you’re bringing, if it’s functional or a book of business. The latter brings in more $
I can confirm KPMG Strategy has over 2,100+ practitioners globally, and about 600+ in the US. So yes, it’s legit, and it’s growing fast. It is not part of our MC group. Strategy comprises of Corp Strategy and M&A services groups
Directors in KPMG Strategy are making around $270 base. Yes the practice is smaller compared to the other big4 strategy teams but is rapidly growing and attracting talent from everywhere including MBB and other Tier 2s. No difference in work or people quality compared to the rest of the Tier 2s. Just some uninformed opinions from outsiders since the practice is more nascent.
Probably left because they didn’t think like the culture or they were going to make partner and KPMG offered them a promotion and raise.
BA1 is completely off on comp with our strategy practice. As a direct hire Director, the range is wide: 250-325 base with OTE bonus ~20%
Apologies, didn’t really have enough info to give an estimate on salary. Not sure if Director is essentially a partner or if it’s a senior manager.
Is Kpmg Strategy not a small growing business? Is it a mature, large business right now? How much revenue does that practice bring in?
Can confirm the Director in KPMG Strategy is actually Senior Manager. (They don’t have SM role in Strategy)
That is correct. Director is SM in KPMG Strategy
I think the KPMG Strategy Director base salary range is between 190 and 270. I’ve heard their bonuses are between 7-17%. You should aim high and they will aim low.
So KPMG Strategy is not comparable to the other 3, as I understand. Salary wise, is it also lower than the other 3 big-4?
Any other thoughts? I just received a verbal offer (working on paperwork) for Director in Operations there and it was $250k. I obviously will try to get them to increase, but am not sure how much room I have. I'm a SM2 at Deloitte with 15 years experience.
We’re paying an internal director $250k base?! Ridiculous
Don't aim for anything less than 250k base. Strategy and Lighthouse will pay for the right people, and higher than any other big 4 bar Deloitte.
