Leadership have their favorites and don’t even hide it.If you aren’t part of the click, it won’t matter how hard you work, you won’t get promoted.They will lie numerous times to cover themselves.If you speak up you are considered the “trouble maker”.They will cut back your wfh days with no explanation & force you to work late shifts even though it was never mentioned in the interview.They will eventually manipulate you into doing what they want.Have you experienced this or is it just my program?

Why is Barclays the best organization to work with?

I have been hearing a lot that Barclays is one of the best organization to work for but no one is actually helping me in what terms it is better then other organization's. Can someone please share their thoughts here

Ever since moving to hybrid work, my coworkers are always complaining about how much they hate their jobs, how much of a hassle it is to travel or work from home. How can you be expected to do your job when you're just so far away from everything?

How are 1st year litigation associates dealing with WFH? I’ve been having terrible anxiety/panic attacks, and pretty sure my billables wont exceed 110 for April. I’ve been super stressed about it and don’t know how to move on to May with the proper mindset to make up for as much time missed as possible. CA courts are still closed, and I’m worried I won’t be able to exceed (or even meet) my May goal after April.

Seriously considering buying a used camper, doing a light renovation, and taking it out west and just working remote next summer. Put all of my belongings in storage, set my parents address as mailing address, and just be a nomad for at least next summer. I would get a Verizon router for WFH. So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school.
