Any walk-in interviews in Pune? Please Help
Does anyone have experience interviewing with Deloitte Internal Services? I had my final interview a week and a half ago, and received positive feedback throughout. The hiring manager had positive things to say and mentioned they hoped to make a decision by the end of last week. It’s now Friday the week after. The role still shows as “Interviews in Process.” We did discuss potential start dates, but no salary. Any experience with receiving offers for an internal services role? Is this common?

Leave ASAP. Industry doesn’t understand consulting titles anyway.
I left before promoting to manager. Honestly no one cares outside consulting. Follow the money, not the title.
I think you need to be creative. If you’re a data scientist - list that and put senior consultant in parentheses. If you’re a project manager list that as your title. Your resume is about marketing. Your title should be more the tasks you perform, not your title in workday.

List your responsibilities and create an additional title in parentheses as needed. My exit opp found me because I was capable of directing a development team + business analysts, and had successfully done it in the past, not because I had a formal manager title
Depends on industry, some don't care and just look at YOE after you hit senior. Others will care and want to see it official. General rule for most is YOE + impactful resume descr will trump all,
EY has a point, but the “senior consultant” title from Deloitte is notoriously difficult to navigate on the job market, since your responsibilities are similar to what a manager is at many other places. If you’re up this year, I’d say hang out the remaining 3 months til you have the title. If you’re not up, then it’s probably not worth the wait.
D2 - no. The title is listed on the background check. They’ll see it when they verify info on your resume. I fudge with my title but you can’t change it up too much.
It made a difference for me because I could prove people management experience and overall project ownership and being lead for client/executive interactions, however it may matter less for you
If you had people leadership responsibilities would add as a sub title (team manager/lead or client engament manager/lead)
I think it does make a difference for some types of roles, like Finance, Tax, IT, Audit - when I made manager I started being contacted by recruiters about a whole different level of roles
