Hey fishes, would be joining the PwC AC DDVIT team soon. Have some questions:

1) is this the same team as Strategy& practice under pwc?
2) how is the work life balance here? Avg. Working hours and timeline?
3) what are some benefits?
4) are there on-site opportunities? If yes only US or Europe too?

After freelancing for years and doing well, would you consider a full time job? It's really hard to give up the flexibility of freelance, but... also hard to give up having a 401k match again. Salary would be similar to freelance money, but less time off. Thoughts?

Noting delays on current processing times, what are multinational companies offering on similar cases? Are they terminating their employment without any health insurance benefit until they can be rehired or are they offering any other support? Someone on LinkedIn expressed disappointment about the lack of diversity from the big law firms in TX that were posting pics of their summer associates. A managing partner commented that he thought the post might be about a pic he posted (12/14 SAs were white). He tried to defend this by saying that they had LGBT and socioeconomic diversity. The fact that he recognized that his pic might be part of the problem says it all. Law firms need to do better. Sorry, I just wanted to rant.

Estimated tax payment question:
I converted $30k of rollover 401k into a Roth IRA and have $26k of realized ST Capital Gains this year (Roth conversion in end of Q1 and most capital gains in Q2).
My total federal withholding tax last year was approximately $12k and this year I will have 40% more in reported income on my employer W2 and anticipate higher that $12k federal withholding for my new job. Given this, what is the best way to go about making est. tax payments for the income (continued.)
