What is CBO TTH drive recruitment in TCS?
Hi fishes, I declined the offer from Pwc AC bangalore on July 28th by sending an email to HR, communicated the same to us_pwc_ac_bangalore_recruitment_services@pwc.com. But I keep getting these emails to complete pre-hiring formalities and daily reminders for the same. How can I make them update the status in system? Also are there repercussions of rejecting an offer. I rejected 3 days after acceptance. PwC Pwc AC
Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.

Interviewed last year and a partner asked "how many times do you need fold a piece of paper to go to the moon" 🙄
Seriously, what does folding a sheet of paper have to do with getting to the moon???
I both work at LEK and have been allocated to recruiting multiple times and us asking odd questions like the thread suggests is news to me. 1st round quant is usually just a basic market sizing that takes 15 min...
Admittedly, we’re asked to come up with our own case questions and I can imagine odd balls being thrown in
I had how many lbs of pet chicken feed is used per year — just for PET chickens not chickens overall
Can confirm, it was a DD you guys did
Had a “how many water bottles sold in the US last year” when I interviewed a few weeks ago
Since we’re asked to develop our own case questions, a lot of them are inspired by whatever case we are currently working on. We’re asking about the number of water bottles sold last year because some PE guy or gal is asking us whether they should buy into a PET plastic manufacturer that supplies water bottle manufacturers
Yes we are. Glassdoor interview questions are fairly representative of what your friend might expect for one of his/her 1st round questions.
I remember helping a friend case prep when I was a C1 and she was still finishing her PhD, and the LEK case she was given during her first round was the literal dumbest scenario I had ever heard. She worked there for a few years so she must have done ok but I remember thinking I would never have gotten the job since the question was so stupid I could not have finished the discussion.
I can agree with this.
