I worked for Booz Allen for a few years and honestly had a great experience. My manager actually cared about development, the pay was competitive, and the benefits weren’t bad either
Been here 15 years. Outside some SAs getting hire happy in the summer and then begging you to staff their non so great data scientist choices it’s generally pretty good. Like all places some markets pay better, some people luck out and get promoted faster but generally it’s pretty solid firm.
Mentor
Us. I've been around the block and have most of the federal sector brand names on my resume, and Booz is the only one I thought was worth going back to.
Pay is mid here wlb is amazing. Pick your poison
Expanding on this:
Always jealous of y’all’s pay. But then I remember I don’t have to deal with so much of the BS, like applying for projects, our contracts are pretty stable since our main game is the ERP. No utilization requirements as well.
Pay and Titles are probably the biggest cons. Our structure is so flat Consultant > senior consultant > VP > Senior VP > ??? Makes it tough to really get those fat raises.
But oddly enough I feel like I’ve been able to lead projects and get responsibilities a larger shop like Deloitte would give to only senior people. With all that being said, once the climate is a better I’m definitely looking to jump ship for a fat raise and lose some wlb.
Coworkers leaving CGI have gotten large bumps because of the point mentioned above. Feel free to ask any questions about CGI (Fed)if you’re interested.
I’ve worked alongside all sorts of contractors over the last 14 years. My vote would would be BAH.
I like Deloitte. I left and came back soon after
It gives a lot flexibility
Come to Deloitte. I’ve been here 3 years and love it so far. DM for referral.
