Does anyone work in EC/VC (whether at a firm, a fund, or at a start-up)? I’m a general corporate associate and thinking of lateraling to a firm that focuses on this type of work, with the goal being to eventually go in-house. Would love to hear about any experiences.

Need urgent suggestion: My joining is in 2 weeks in EY GDS, I don't have any other offer. As today they have confirmed that EY consulting will become a new company and it wont be part of EY. So I am scared that it will be like a startup and job security will be an issue there.

Transitioning from biglaw to IRS Chief Counsel?

Is there such place as non toxic ID firm? Or does any of ID attys like what they do? I moved from general practice to an ID firm six months ago. Biggest mistake of my life. I have just got an options trader job at a prop trading firm. But I knew nothing about options/trading/finance. The firms said they’ll be officially training us once we start. But in the meantime, what are some books/resources that you would recommend to start learning first?

I’m curious what non sales positions people from sales transfer into. Currently a sales rep at a cybersecurity firm but am interested in exploring industries that have a bit less stress involved.

Looking for some advice on a couple of offers I have.

The first offer is for an Account Executive position at a smaller company with a base of $50k and another $20k in OTE.

The second offer is for a BDR position at a larger and faster growing company with a base of $60k and another $20k in OTE. Also some stock options but they aren’t public yet.

I have 2 YOE as a BDR and think I could succeed in either position. Both have hybrid work set ups. Any thoughts or advice is appreciated! Thanks.

I am looking to make a career change to HR. I currently make 75K as a sales and development coach.
