I have recently joined bank of america, india branch, it's not been 15 days actually. And they are asking all the employees who are working from home to come to office. Which is 18 april. Can we as a employee ask the company to continue with the work from home model.

Accounting advisory big4 or IA at F100. Both senior roles. Roughly same base pay.

Big4 has clear trajectory and interesting work.

F100 has 14% bonus, perm remote, and immediate vesting 401k over 7%.

What would you take?

Any agencies planning on making some permanent remote work policy changes? Or starting a hybrid schedule? My agency is planning on going back to 100% in office and I’m not thrilled.

Seems like hiring has slowed down but i feel we are in for another bout of great resignations due to companies calling it's employees back now and employees finding ways to continue WFH. The ones who get lucky continue WFH while not so lucky ones will start switching and startups and other mid level companies cashing in on the talent. Looks like it's the lull before the storm.

Trying to move to DC Nov. 1st and I know no one nor do I know any areas (NYC real estate is too crazy and it’s time for a change). Where should a 25 year old woman live? I accepted a FADP offer but I have lifelong crippling anxiety It leads to (TMI) diarrhea, I can’t sleep at night, among a lot of other issues. I see a therapist and have their support in school accom. I appear high functioning and ever since uni went remote my life and performance has only improved. I know I’m capable of getting the work done and they must see potential if they hired me. But I feel that if I ask for WFH or other accom. I’m gonna be shooting myself and my career in the foot.
