We prefer MBB, not the name Big 3.
Vault has multiple times referred it to as big3. Agree it's not used anymore but I do remember seeing Wikipedia page years ago when I was in colg getting to know about McKinsey and Bains of the world for the first time.
Having said that, I also feel MBB is a term coined by fishbowl/blind users and nobody really understands it outside the consulting/client circle.
Id stay put if your project is solid in this economy
I didn’t know that. Is there no performance component whatsoever? I assumed I’d at least need to be above average to get confirmed

Doesn’t hurt to try
$130k is less than 1st year entry-level comp at MBB now. Comp growth will be much higher at MBB.
You've got nothing to lose by trying

Just out of curiosity, what’s your level and offering portfolio, and degree(s) and technical skills?

Shoot your shot, you don’t have anything to lose
Damn, I’m 4+ years and make less than that
That sounds like AFS, I know the LLC side tho is dependant on the things I listed out. Might come down to how the contracts are laid out on the management side, e.g. I know AFS can only charge a max of 42 hrs a week, LLC doesn't have that maximum. Still tho, pay out policy isn't identical across fed and LLC.
You said “if it is worth” so what r u optimizing for ? WLB is less likely and so is immediate comp as it may not be a lateral move. The bar to be shortlisted and interviewed is much bigger than ACN or big fours - you will be screened by so many people (and from diff regions) that u may never work with just to make sure the bar is consistently high and u r true talent. This is not to discourage u but to prepare well :)
Definitely give it a try :)
