Looking to break into the Pharma industry and eventually become a MSL. Would it look favorably to keep my per-diem pharmacist job at a cancer clinic and get a full time role as a sales rep?

Is there anything you could forsee going wrong/is there a conflict of interest?

Should I quit the clinic role and go sales only? Looking to stay in sales 1-2 yrs before applying to MSL roles both internally and externally.

Rooting for you! I think it is smart to keep the per diem RPh role while working in sales. Your experience in sales should ideally nicely translate into an MSL role in the future!

I actually recently left retail and now work in big pharma as a senior sales rep, though I lack actual sales experience. Hoping in a few years I can become an MSL

It could definitely be seen as a conflict of interest, especially if the clinic is a part of a bigger corp.

Any reason why it would be? Would you not recommend me trying to go this path?

Anyone go from SaaS / licensing sales to services (strategy & implementation) sales?

I'm thinking of moving from large cap tech to large cap consultancy firm to help build the resume and round out my experience. I enjoy and do well in licensing, but I'm fairly young in my career (<6 years) and received a great offer to make the move.

Big fan of the org and team I'll be joining as well.

Thanks!!

Any craft beer brewers here?

In the last two year I’ve gotten more and more into alcohol free beer. The selection in my country (Europe) is still small and mainly driven by the big brands (e.g. Heineken). My idea is to start my own small brewery which only produces alcohol free beer as a bit of a pendant to the booming local craft beer industry. Any thoughts on that idea or someone who has experience in the market?

I work in a state where abortion was previously banned and is now still pretty heavily restricted. Lately I've heard a lot of really negative and hurtful comments about patients who are picking up contraceptives, and about people who are pro-choice. I don't usually bring my political views to work, and now I feel like I honestly can't say anything without making work really uncomfortable for myself (I'm pro-choice). What should I do?
