I work at a service based MNC and resigned recently. I'm getting married within a week and moving with my partner, and won't be able to serve the notice period. My manager says to serve the full notice period or be labelled absconded. I asked the HR whether I will be labelled as absconded if I agree to buyout the shortfall but they're not replying. What to do.

I’ve been working for a small investment firm for about a year and am having some issues with my boss. We have a weekly check-in but he’s ALWAYS 2-3 hours late, or skips the meeting altogether without warning. He also never replies to any of the emails I send. I already spoke with him about these issues, but things haven’t really changed. I really like the work I do but I’m starting to feel frustrated about the situation. Any advice? Or anyone else in a similar situation?

Just started a new role in industry 2 months ago and my manager sent me a long email today saying he is not happy with my performance and is not at par with my level. He also pointed out list of instances when my submissions were late. Some of the things I agree but not all. Should I reply back or talk about it on our one on one and what to respond. I'm trying to choose between IBM Corporate Strategy and Innosight. I like both opportunities. Innosight pays more, but I've never had a big brand like IBM on my resume.
